The Function And Installation Requirements of Elevator Guide Wheels

The elevator guide wheel has a pulley structure, and the pulley set can achieve labor-saving effects. It is mainly used to increase the distance between the car and the counterweight and change the movement direction of the wire rope.

When installing the elevator guide wheel, first align the counterweight center point on the sample frame on the machine room floor or load-bearing beam, and hang a plumb line. On both sides of this plumb line, two auxiliary plumb lines are hung with the width of the elevator guide wheel as the distance. Based on these three lines, install and correct the traction sheave.

1.Calibration of parallelism of elevator guide wheels

The calibration of the parallelism of the elevator guide wheel refers to the line connecting the car center point on the traction wheel and the counterweight center point on the elevator guide wheel. It should be in line with the reference line of the load-bearing beam, traction wheel, and elevator guide wheel positioning. The vertical directions coincide, and both sides of the elevator guide wheels should be parallel to the reference line.

2.Plumb calibration of elevator guide wheels

The plumb-bob calibration of the elevator guide wheel means that the planes on both sides of the elevator guide wheel should be parallel to the plumb line.

3.Technical requirements for elevator guide wheel installation

  (1) The error of the plumb degree of the elevator guide wheel is required to be less than 0.2mm.

  (2)The parallelism error between the end face of the elevator guide wheel and the end face of the traction sheave should be less than 1mm.
